Your trip aboard the super-fast boats, specially designed to find and visit with dolphins, will take you along Panama City's native pod of wild bottle-nosed Dolphins. Blue Dolphin Tours can only carry 6 people on some boats, and 7-15 passengers on other boats (children of any age included). Our snorkel gear can be put on quickly so you don't have to splash around and scare off the dolphins. Learn from Your Knowledgeable Captain. Your captain will show you the best way to interact with the dolphins. Swim with Dolphins. We'll take you into the water before the dolphins arrive. So the dolphins are more likely than not to swim away to us, to swim with us. Find wildlife like birds of prey, pelicans underwater creatures, and herons. Shells and Sand Dollars are found on Shell Island. Enjoy snorkeling in the flats of seagrass and exploring St. Andrews Bay, Florida and the Gulf of Mexico.
On your excursion you'll visit Panama City Pass as well as the area where St. Andrews Bay merges with the Gulf of Mexico. There are many dolphins in this area. We'll show you how to interact.
Your captain will meet you at the snorkeling spot and take you into the water. He will show you how to identify seashells and other marine life. You can choose how you want to spend your tour time, so it will be exactly what you envisioned.
At Gabby's Dolphin Tours PCB, our captains are highly trained and experienced in spotting, observing, and interpreting dolphin’s behavior and movements. We place the boat at a safe distance and instruct you when to get in the water to get a closer look and mingle with them.

You and your group will go in the water together before the dolphins do. You and your group will then be able to get into the water before the dolphins do. Instead of swimming away, they will become curious about you. Because dolphins are wild animals and will be curious about you, you should not try to stimulate their curiosity. This can be explained by people who show no caring and only become interested in someone they're dating. This is how Mom met your dad.
This Dolphin Tour boat has a maximum of six passengers. That's six more than the 175-person capacity of larger tour boats. Larger groups create too much noise, which can disturb the dolphins, driving them away. The best part is that we will quickly get you in to the water, and not scare away the dolphins.
The boats are real dive boats, so children will enjoy seeing dolphins and snorkeling in the water like SCUBA divers.
The second leg will be spent spotting the best St Andrews Bay has for wildlife. You'll see birds such as pelicans and herons, along with underwater marine life like starfish, blue crabs and sea horses. Shell Island has sand dollars, shells and other treasures. You can also go snorkeling in grass flats, and explore St. Andrews Bay on the Gulf of Mexico.
Our Dolphin Boat Tours provide a more personal experience with dolphins. These tours last two hours and give you the opportunity to swim and snorkel with them. You can arrange your private tour. Our captains can help you find the best places where dolphins can be seen.
We depart from the docks of Off the Hook Bar & Grill, 1101 Bayview Avenue Panama City FL 32401.
During your excursion, visit Panama City Pass to see the area where St. Andrews Bay joins the Gulf of Mexico. This area is home to many dolphins. Furthermore, we'll teach you how they interact in the water.
It's all worth it once you get there because the water is the most beautiful I've ever seen. The water is so clear that it feels like you're swimming in a pool. We had no idea what to expect, so we went with the intention of spending a few hours on the island. Come prepared to spend the entire day!
Dolphins, loggerhead turtles, green sea turtles, ghost crabs, beach mice, nine-banded armadillos, alligators that live in the island's lake, marsh rabbits, racoons, and other wildlife can be found on Shell Island.
Wear nothing but a swimsuit. Dolphins have extremely sensitive skin, and because you will be able to touch them during your interaction, we recommend that you refrain from wearing sunscreen, oils, or perfumes.
